So I went to the mall today...
There's something for everybody at the mall. Guys that don't like going to the mall are idiots. True, there is an over-abudance of stores for women, but it's not like they don't appeal to guys too. I mean, what guy walks past Victoria's Secret and doesn't have a smile on their face? Certainly not a straight man. But anyway, here's what happened.
Went into Hot Topic to buy a new Nintendo shirt and I found a good one on clearance. I also went looking for a pair of tripp pants, but the clerk said that the only place that sells those normally is the Hot Topic in the Mills, which is St. Louis' big outlet mall. Disappointed, I went over to Gamestop to buy a screen guard for my DS. Well just as I was about to go up to the register, I noticed that they were selling used Gamecubes for only 30 bucks. How could I say no to that?! I mean, damn! So I grabbed the Gamecube, an extra controller, and Super Smash Bros. Melee, and Boulder's Gate. Went up to buy the stuff then the guy asked me if I wanted to buy a 5 dollar service plan. So I said yes. Then he said that if I subscribe to a magazine for 15 bucks, I can save 10 percent on all used games and accessories everytime I go in. So I thought that I buy used games for the most part so I said yes to that too. Then I bought a game card. I ended up spending 114 dollars on the Gamecube. But for what I got, that was a pretty good deal. I just wasn't expecting to spend that much at once. Still, it's pretty fun.
